
Gwembe District is a tongue-shaped stripe of land in the Southern Province of Zambia. It is in the valley of the Zambezi Escarpment, sharing boundaries with Chikankata, Siavonga, Monze, Pemba, Sinazongwe and Zimbabwe on the Lake Kariba.
